What should I be looking for with this product? I am taking it to

prevent allergies and for overall good health. A friend who has taken

it 2 months prior to allergy season told me she doesn't have

allergies, much less a few sneezes. Thank you!

Modern raw food authors advise against using honey or royal jelly.

What is called raw honey is not actually raw. It is not cooked, but

it is heated to get it out of the comb. Once it has been heated it is

no different than sugar. Most advise the use of Maple Syrup over

honey even though it is also cooked, it is higher in minerals. Honey

is not considered vegan. You will find that many things that are good

for people who eat cooked food, are bad for people who eat raw food.

The reason is, if you think of health on a scale of 1-10, a healthy

cooked fooder is maybe a 5; he takes vitamins, herbs, royal jelly, or

what ever, and it brings him up to a 7. those same supplements bring

us down to a 7 or even lower because then we have to detox the

supplements. We also need to understand that medical science,

herbalists, vitamin salesmen and in fact the entire

supplement/medical industry are treating symptoms rather than the

underlying cause of disease. Since living foods remove the " cause "

all these things are not needed, and in fact are very toxic. In

Intuitive Eating, by Humbart Santillo, he talks about people having

toxic reactions to vitamins. Medicinal herbs are toxic plants. The

toxins are used to mask the symptoms. Aspirin masks the symptom

(pain) of a head ache. Even diet and weight loss is the treatment of

symptoms, fat is a symptom. If we find out that we are deficient in

something. The deficiency is a symptom. If we artificially replace

it, we are masking the deficiency and not allowing our bodies to

heal. Allergies are a symptom. I think we might be using the word

detox to much; we are " transitioning " detoxifying and healing. A good

rule is if we are dizzy, spaced out, or can't concentrate even vision

problems, we are detoxifying. If we have pain we are healing.

I am new to the Raw Food Lifestyle, so I don't know much about what

is raw or not, and honestly I don't like honey, but because I work as

a grocery buyer for a natural foods co-op I thought I would mention

one of the honey companies I deal with.

These guys are awesome, for people that use honey, this is supposed

to be one of the best. They do not claim organic, but they are as

organic as honey can get in my eyes. They don't claim it for monetary

and logistics reasons. Give them a call, I have met the owner and

talked with them several times, and come away impressed everytime.
