Guest guest
Hello everyone, I am not a huge contributor on this list but I've done alot of lurking around here and have learned alot from you guys *smile*! Two days ago I had the misfortune of being in an accident, it wasn't a horrible accident but we were hit on the passenger side (my side) and our injuries were to bad. My injuries are dislocated shoulder, cracked ribs, bruised internal organs and few lacerations and muscular bruising. I didn't go to the emergency room with the rest of the guys instead I went to see my Naturopath just to make sure I wasn't in worse shape than I thought, so he relocated my shoulder and sent me home to bed. I slept for 2 days straight! As a matter of fact I just got up a couple hours ago and the bruises are gone, lacerations are pretty healed and my ribs are down to a dull throb and not at all unbearable. I am a little unsteady on my feet at the moment but I feel really good, nothing like how I felt a few days ago. By the way I have been 100% raw for 12 months and I did not take any drugs after this accident, just in case y'all were wondering! Have a wonderful day! ~Nakota
Guest guest
Aloha Nakota ~ I just had to say something! I don't have much time to contribute here, but am always grateful for all the input. A true testament to allowing your body to heal, glad to hear you're doing well!! We all know that if you had gone to the emergency, you would have been given some drugs, etc. etc. And the rest was just was you needed. Take good care! Guest guest
Hi I'm new to this group. Have a couple of questions. 1. what do you use sesame milk for? 2. Would a non-bleached coffee filter work acceptably? Guest guest
Hi and welcome I drink a lot of sesame milk and I use a plain ol' strainer. I just squish the pulp out with a spoon. You can also use a cotton napkin and just squeeze it out. Hope that helped Aymee Diane Law [joy2knit] Sunday, June 01, 2003 5:07 PM rawfood Re: [Raw Food] Healing Wonderfully After Car Accident! Hi Nakota, make sure you get plenty of Vitamin D with that calcium, or otherwise it won't do you any good. The natural and therefore the best source of vitamin D is the Sun. So expose yourself to sunshine, if you can. Other sources of vitamin D is fatty fish and certain mushrooms. Good luck with healing naturally!
