Guest guest
I know I shouldn't be focusong on my weight, but the only barometers I have are how I'm feeling and the way my body is behaving. Because I am somewhat hypoglycemic and I seem to react to cooked oatmeal, I decided to start my with two scrambled eggs and a pat of butter. No toast. Just that. OK. I lose 5 #. Then I decide - nope! I wanna go raw! So, I do the fruit and nut breakfast. No more egg. Then with everyday that there's NO EGG, I gain a half pound. Someone please explain. Am I not getting enough protein and that's why having the egg may have worked? Other than that egg and butter, I was vegan. My thinking in having it was just to protect myself from a hypoglycemic reaction. But now, my body is gaining - consistently! - a half pound everyday since stopping the egg and adding the fruit and nut breakfast. That fruit and nut breakfast was wonderful and did not give me the hypoglycemic reaction I feared with having fruit. So? Why lose wgt with egg? Why gain wgt without egg? Thanks, Rose
Guest guest
Because egg is poisonous, and your body is like a fireman. When a building is burning, you may take the residents and throw them out the wondow, even though they may fall to their deaths. This is because the immediate danger is the fire. Similarly, when your body is introduced to a heavy toxin, such as the sulfides in eggs, it immediately flushes many elements from itself, like minerals, muscle tissue, and also fat. You should note that the only beings that lose weight quickly are those with serious illness, such as leukemia or other forms of cancer. Lose the weight gradually and organically. You'll thank yourself later. - Rose and Fred Lieberman rawfood Tuesday, June 03, 2003 1:33 PM [Raw Food] Explanation needed I know I shouldn't be focusong on my weight, but the only barometers I have are how I'm feeling and the way my body is behaving. Guest guest
The factors can be many, but it's most likely due to your not eating for your type. If I were you, I would check out the book, " Eating Right for Your Blood Type. " Also, being a woman, you may be retaining water due to the time of the month. You must also remember that diet is only 1/3 of a lifestyle. Do you have regulated and productive exercise and sleeping habits? - Rose and Fred Lieberman rawfood Tuesday, June 03, 2003 6:57 PM Re: [Raw Food] Explanation needed Frank, I understand what you're saying about the body's response to the toxin by flushing elements out. OK, so why the weight gain? Why the steady gain of 1/2 lb everyday for the past five days? Isn't that an issue at all? I understand I shouldn't be focused on weight, but everyday a 1/2 lb? That can't be right. Rose
