Guest guest
Hi. I've been 99.9 % raw (unless canola oil is raw? I can't stop myself from eating this certain salad dressing daily, and it might not be completely raw) for a few months now. I was an overeater, and I still feel liek I am. Raw food never makes me feel full. No matter how much I eat. I have tried to accept this as a natural way because when I feel full, I have no energy. It seems like Im always wanting more food though. Its hard to learn Ill never get that full feeling (that is somewhat satisfying to me) as long as I am eating raw. Well anyway, I still feel like I overeat. Is anyone willing to share a typical day of what they eat with me? ANYONE who is 100% raw. I would love to compare. Also, is it possible to overeat sweet fruit? I find myself eating a lot of apples and peaches. THANKYOU!! Laura
Guest guest
Hi, Laura. I'm not 100% but I'm in the process of going from 80-100% as we speak, so I'll share what we do and what we're transitioning into. Breakfast: bowl of fruit, nuts, seeds. Usually, 1 banana, 1/4 mango, 1/2 peach, 1 orange, a few strawberries; a small handful each of sunflowers seeds, almonds, walnuts, and pumpkin seeds. (I'm gong to start soaking the almonds. I wear dentures and enough already with the rock-chewing!) Lunch: large salad. Usually, romaine lettuce, scallions, mushrooms, shredded cabbage; sprouts: adzuki, lentil, mung, alfalfa; same nuts and seeds as above. Dinner: Larger chunks of veggies: broccoli, mushrooms, etc. " Plate eating " vs " bowl eating " . Also, I'm soaking some pitted prunes which is also nice to throw into a vegetable mix. Alternate breakfast would be soaked pitted prunes and maybe small pieces of another tree fruit over a bed of buckwheat sprouts. I'm also going to get me a little puree'ing machine. That will help whip up certain ingredients and give me different textures. The only non-raw things I might be having would be the occasional cup of coffee, the dab of rice milk in that coffee, and I'm not sure how olive oil qualifies in raw. I'm also putting lemon and olive oil on my salads. Hope that helps. Please share yours so I can see what other folks are eating. Thanks, Rose

Unfortunately, the health food industry embraces it, and it's in everything. http://www.karinya.com/canola.htm
