Guest guest
I have a co-worker who is troubled by migraines. I lent her Joel Fuhrman's new book, and she has been motivated to improve her eating habits. She is getting very discouraged, however, because her headaches have actually increased in frequency since eating better. She is now saying she will stop eating well if they don't improve soon. I want to say something encouraging, but I have very little experience with headaches. While I was de-toxing, I had a couple of very strange headaches, but they were not what she is describing. She says it feels like pressure at the front of her head, much like a sinus headache. Any words of encouragement I can pass along to her? Guest guest
Could be the sinuses are getting ready to drain. I had awful sinus headaches BEFORE going mostly raw, but I feel so clear up there now it's amazing. I did feel some pressure while they drained, though. Hope this helps, Cathe - Sally Harvey rawfood Tuesday, July 15, 2003 2:11 PM [Raw Food] headaches I have a co-worker who is troubled by migraines. Guest guest
Salley, Tell her to drink more water drink it slowly - sipping all day rather than gulping. I sell a FAMBULOUS peppermint oil and herbal alignment combination that I've used at health shows to get rid of headaches. I've gotten rid of all kinds of long lasting migraine headaches using those products. Have her email me if she is interested. Guest guest
Sally, Headaches are a classic symptom of detoxification. And drinking water is right when detoxifying. Guest guest
has she cut caffeine out of her diet? That gave me a really bad headache. It doesn't have to be cold turkey (cold banana?) either. Even a reduction can do it. rawfood , Sally Harvey <sallyannaz> wrote: > I have a co-worker who is troubled by migraines. Guest guest
well, lets see... what do you want to know? The peppermint increases the flow of blood and oxygen to what ever it touches. Then the herbal alignment warms and relaxes. I have seen it do some pretty amazing things. Thing combo is also good for back / spine issues. You can go to www.herbalnutritionalsupplements.com to check out for info.
