Guest guest
Could someone explain what that means exactly?
Guest guest
It is a lifestyle which promotes the eating of only unprocessed foods--preferably raw and vegan, but not necessarily. Natural Hygiene also rejects modern medicine. They believe all illness is the result of improper diet and lifestyle. Therefore, all illness can be treated with proper diet, sleep, exercise, sunlight and fasting. Do a google search on " natural hygiene " , " Herbert Shelton " or " T. C. Fry " and you will find more than you ever wanted to know. sagegarten <sagegarten wrote: Could someone explain what that means exactly? They even won't promote ONE diet because they say there is so much debate even among the hygienic scientists. They do say, however, that there does seem to be legitimate evidence that an all fruit diet (long term) leads to problems and deficiencies?? They also say that you can be a natural hygienist eating raw fruits & veggies AND eggs and raw dairy! There's a chart that shows the different 'NH diets'...and a very interesting section on 'What is the optimal raw diet' or something to that effect. They say that natural hygienists are more concerned with HEALTH rather than the ethics of vegetarianism (in regards to the eating of wild fish and eggs)....And that some famous hygienists promoted this way of eating after doing research w/feeding mice? It's very interesting to read the findings of that research! Thoughts??? Denise (raw and still exploring/researching!!)
