Guest guest
Hello, In a follow up to my previous post about the Price-Pottenger Nutrion Foundation (PPNF), here is a good article on Pottenger's study: http://www.mercola.com/2002/nov/16/eating_habits.htm I forgot to mention that I also respect the PPNF because of their research on the dangers of eating soy: http://www.westonaprice.org/soy/soy_alert.html http://www.mercola.com/article/soy/ Mike
Guest guest
Thanks for these links Mike. I had previously read the one on soy, and have suspended my tofu eating until I can find out more. I have always found that soy mince and tvp made me very ill, so am not surprised by what I read here. Guest guest
Hello folks, I received an e-mail today from Curezone with this link: http://curezone.com/forums/f.asp?f=83 " The Pottenger cat study was done by Dr. Francis Pottenger between 1932 and 1942 using about 900 cats. The study itself was conducted together with Dr. Alvin Foord who was a professor of pathology at the University of Southern California. It was a study that was done under very specific scientific conditions with a very actuate record keeping, observation, and statistical analysis. In fact, all the 600 cats had complete medical histories even before the experiment began.
