Guest guest
Good morning everyone.. I just joined the list last night and would like some help on choosing a good quality juicer. What juicers are the best ones to get and where do I get them? I am currently checking out Champion and Omega ones on Ebay. Thanks, Donna/Whitewolf Make a difference in babies lives: http://project-angel-kisses.150m.com/index.html

Guest guest
Donna, I have a Norwalk juicer (from 1976) that is AWESOME. I bought it used for about half of what they sell for on ebay. It has incredible nutrient output. I have also heard the Green Life is very good. I would recommend any juicer that masticates/triturates (chews)the food, as this releases more of the nutrients. The Norwalk also has a hydraulic press to get the maximum juice out of the pulp. It works great for greens as well, and makes DELICIOUS banana " ice cream " (or any other frozen fruit) that my kids like better than traditional ice cream. 100% bananas! Some of the other juicers can make this as well. I only paid $250 for mine, but I just stumbled upon it. My mom wants one too, and I have seen them in the $500-$600 price range, or about $1000 to $1200 for the newer models. I'm waiting for another deal for my mom. There is a nice green star juicer on ebay now, for $230ish. If you run across an older Norwalk, they should have 6 grids, although I have only used 3 of mine.
