It seems that others in the Forum have not read " Plague Time " by Paul W.

Ewald.

I found it fascinating even though Ewald repeats himself as though he

were a Bach writing variations on a theme and he delivers less than he

hints that he will.

Of course he is much concerned with disease but his fascinating insights

have not only greatly expanded my knowledge of human physiology but they

have added a dimension to my raw diet.

We are walking around with a load of potential time bombs some of which,

as he says, will deliver with the certainty that actors leave the stage

at the end of a play.

It is no hoax and nothing crazy

I thought this was a raw food site,

not another medical propaganda site.

Naturally, you're free to say anything

on this forum, but let me remind you

that there is a $$$$trillion dollar$$$$

medical establishment that gladly spouts

germ theory and the like, ad nauseum; which

is in direct contrast to taking responsibility

for one's own well-being, and not

blaming microbe werewolves and supernatural,

mystical forces for most (if not all)

problems related to physical and mental

health. (The two are interrelated and

concommitant with one another.)

Healthy living (and nothing else) begets

emotional and physical health.

Steve I would like to give an answer to your post. I am new to the group but not

Raw Foods and I am a master Faster. As a Mother of four children and natural

food eater. I like nothing more then to make Boston Baked beans, Steamed Brown

Breads from freshly ground Rye, a salad, and Bread Pudding for dessert, again

from freshly ground wheat or spelt. As healthy as this all sounds I can not live

this way. You see I was scheduled to have my voice box removed in 2000, I had a

large mass in my throat. I fasted 45 days and cured it. I began Raw Foods and

was well. I started eating cooked foods again and in less then a years (August

2002) I was unable to get dressed, drive or know my children's names. Again,

fasting and 100% raw healed me AFTER months of IV's, antibiotics and surgery.

Eight weeks of raw healed me. My point is I ate a VERY good diet prior to being

raw. I had a strong immune system, never smoked, took drugs or alcohol. I never

took anti-bionics or other medicines in over 12 years and my children NEVER went

to a Doctor. What happened? I drank water that from a well that had a very sink

kitten drown in it. Consequentially the germs are more then the medical industry

can even run test for and I gave birth to a mentally retarded daughter ( through

raw foods she is now only mildly learning disabled and lives a normal life) this

took 10 years though, and I have a 14yod that is sick unless raw and with

periods of juice fasting. While I don't think germs are the cause of everything

and a strong immune system IS the only cure. I find water fasting the most

powerful thing I can do for myself. Well this is just my story. And still wish

I could be baking steamed brown breads and chocolate chip cookies. Instead I

travel four hours for organic produce and ride a bike 50 miles a day just to

keep my mind remembering my kids names. Yet we are all well and very happy all

and all God is still good through wisdom and knowledge we are healed and we find

it amazing.
