Guest guest
Tofu is not raw. It is made from cooked soy milk. Most peanut butter is not raw, although you can get raw peanut butter, freshly made, in many health food stores. Peanuts are hard to digest though. ~Wendy
Guest guest
Thank you Wendy and Roger for the help on the tofu and peanut butter, it's good to have experienced people around to help. Fancy someone telling that lady that the tofu dish was raw though? Love Shell.
Guest guest
Raw Tofu is possible, but don't know anyone who carries it, and from what I understand it is not a particularly safe product to eat rawfood , " andy.mich " <andy.mich@n...> wrote: > Thank you Wendy and Roger for the help on the tofu and peanut butter, it's > good to have experienced people around to help. I went to a vegetarian festival and filled out an entry blank or something.. so I got a sales call... the company is www.innerlightinc.com and the woman says she is an " alkalinarian " . So, that's a new twist. One of the products they promote is " Soy Sprouts Powder " . My mind just throws up a warning flag on this one! I've heard that raw soy products are very toxic.. personally, I think soy is pushed too much by the industry, and I avoid heavy soy use.. I do like a little miso soup once in a while though. It'll be interesting when she calls again. I intend to be prepared. --Art
Guest guest
I also stay away from soy, 95% of the soy beans are grown using tht new method (I forgot the name, where they alter the DNA of the seed). Also they contain far to much estrogen for men and children. Soy should be used in moderation and with caution. Soy is also hard to digest.
