Guest guest
I need some help when it comes to what to eat with what, and what times do I eat these certain foods. If someone can make up or give me a idea of a food schedule(with times and kinds of foods) or make up one then i can get a better understanding of how to eat healthy and the right way daily. thanks so much p.s. any personal recipes that might sound tasty is welcomed. thanks again The New with improved product search
Guest guest
Egypt Janai I think the best read for a Daily Food Schedule in transition is David Wolfe's Sun Food Success System (he adds in a lot of his poetry and philosophy especially in the first 158 pages which I find of far less benefit that what he has to say on diet). Fuhrman' " Eat to Live " is excellent from a medical perspective. Frederic Patenaude's Raw Secrets is excellent from a raw foodist perspective. In your case I think you would enjoy Rubin's " Patient Heal Thyself " He is a Doctor of Nutrition and talks a lot about illness. Briefly which is hardly enough, I eat fruit before noon and vegetables thereafter with a low fat input. One avocado with a spoon of flax seeds which I munch hard is enough in a day for me of fat. Sometimes I take a spoon of " virgin " coconut oil. No offence to those who love recipes for food or " uncooking " , I never bother with them for myself (my guests love it). I prefer a minimum of mixing which allows the stomach to treat what is in it in a specialist manner rather than having to set up the chemistry to treat six different items simultaneously. Each to his own taste and enjoy the reading Peter Egypt Janai [redddbone4] 15 October 2003 15:46 rawfood [Raw Food] Daily Food Schedule I need some help when it comes to what to eat with what, and what times do I eat these certain foods. Guest guest
thanks. I have a question about coconut oil. Is it safe to just take a table spoon of just the oil? also I've noticed that when I put it on my salad it quickly solidifies, why is that? Guest guest
Egypt Janai There are various grades of it, and it seems it needs to be highly virgin to be beneficial! When the temperature drops below 76 degrees Fahrenheit, it solidifies. Peter Egypt Janai [redddbone4] 16 October 2003 18:01 rawfood RE: [Raw Food] Daily Food Schedule thanks. Guest guest
The best is home made. Take the meat of the coconut and place it in the blender. Liquefy the oil will rise to the top. Scoop of and you will know why the best is so expensive. LOL The New with improved product search

Guest guest
Bernadette I have the problem and have read a lot but the subject goes beyond pure raw food. Guest guest
Bernadette One person recommended by the American Heart Foundation is Dean Ornish. He claims it works. I do not see how! Eating his broth looks a bad move to me! Peter abrs [abrs] 02 November 2003 21:54 rawfood Re: [Raw Food] Daily Food Schedule Peter I am looking for this book for two people I know. Not for myself. Guest guest
Allison I have hear disease. I am not qualified to pass judgement on a doctor of medicine. I was put off buying his book by reading of his insistence on eating his broth. Now I understand that he preaches a lot of love. I have doubt that love is important. He may or may not appreciate that as a generalization heart patients are a nerve driven lot with no great skills in the emotional department. If you come across anything good let me know. For me the raw diet is doing it although there are a few things I add in to get nature back into balance.
