I would say that it goes against natures design, don’t you think? I can’t think of any other species that chooses same sex companionship. If so they would become extinct. So I would have to say that a same sex relationship means that something has gone wrong somewhere. I have tried to stay out of this debate but for some reason we just can’t let it go. So lets just pull off the gloves and have it out. People have the right to do what ever they want in my eyes as long as it doesn’t affect the lives of others. What you do in your house is your business. I am not going to sit here and listen to you people tell me that you are appalled because it’s not politically correct to state the truth! It is natures design that they are gay! If you not like it you could pray to the Almighty and ask Him to redesign nature but writing to the Raw Food forum is unlikely to help. I guess us being humans, are always gonna have to veer off the path towards other worldly things. I'm like you Peter, I wasn't going to respond to this, b/c my main objective here is to talk and share advince on bettering our eating habits and not our SEXUAL PREFERENCES, but when I read this comment that it is natures way that people are gay, and that God " made " them like that, being a christian I had to reply. First I am in no way a judge, else if I was then i would be God and would have ended this convo from the beginning. I believe we ALL have the free-will to choose how we live our lives. However, I believe God does not design someone gay. If we're going to say that then we can also say that God makes murderers, petofiles, rapists, and so on. Thus leaving God to some type of hypocrite. Also if God creates gay people, then it wouldn't be there choice that they're sinning, thus they wouldn't be at fault for leading a life of sin, and it would be God's fault. Again that contradicts that we ALL have a free-will. WE ALL HAVE A FREE WILL(no screaming going on here, just want to emphasize). We are all born into this world and have the choice on how we are to live our lives, and that has nothing to do with God. We can either choose life, which is through our savior Jesus Christ, and try our best to live a perfect life, notice I said TRY. Or we can choose death, and live in the pleasures of this world and men. IT IS OUR CHOICE. I believe that yes people can be born with homosexual intentions, b/c when I asked my associates who were homosexual when they realized they were, it was usually at a very young age. I do however, believe that b/c of man's SIN and WICKEDNESS, things of this nature can happen. Say for instance both parents have AIDS, and b/c of their sin their child has to suffer. And believe me when I say that we ALL affect someone else in one way or another. That's why God is so serious when he explains how we live our lives. To say that God makes people gay is to call him a hypocrite and that offends me. Because then that means that God didnt really give us the free will he so emphasizes in the bible. God gaves us the precious gift of life, and that is all. What circumstances, consequences, and so forth is a result of either our actions or the actions of someone that has affected us. Also lemme get this clear I am in no way speaking on behalf of God, I am just going by the words of the Holy Bible. Again it is no one's right to judge one another, b/c remember who we judge, so shall we be judged. Conversations like these however need to remain in the group they belong to.
