It was thought that this disease was caused by excessive smoking. Have or do you smoke? The pain can be excruiating, but as you know with the lack of circulation, one has to really watch the feet and legs. Do you take medication for the clotting? I really do think that diseases can be reversed. Does your doctor see an improvement after being raw? Vegigran
Guest guest
Vegigran, This post is relevant to raw foodism but is likely to be boring to anyone who is not interested in curing the effects of many years of SAD living! I started smoking in my teens and stopped at 54 when my Cardio specialist explained how he would cut off my toes as required then foot and leg, fingers legs arms etc. He could see a fair lot of fees coming in! I thought I was on a two year fuse before death at the outset 4 years ago. My cardio specialist said we would work together and he would be with me all the way. I cannot tell you my thoughts as I looked at my then 10 year old son. My reading on the internet gave me the idea that I could expect 30% increase in walking distance if smoking was stopped and all drugs were taken. Then there would be a gradual degeneration. The fast was not supervised. I did several shorter fasts before the longer fast building up to the 28 day fast each being about twice the length of the previous and the first being a juice fast of a couple of days. The medics initially gave me three drugs. 1. To kill cholesterol production. It turned my urine not far off green. I thought of the Exorcist and I read in the internet that it was not a good thing so I stopped it without telling the doctors at first. Total cholesterol was at 295 at that time it is now at 145. 2. A stronger version of an aspirin which thins the blood. One morning I found blood on lavatory paper so I stopped taking that. 3. To dilate arteries but I found it made little difference so I stopped that as well. I felt the raw diet was far more important than the drugs and my GP agreed. She thought that the improvement came from the bodies ability to do its own by-pass of some occluded arteries. Now four years later, my increase in walking distance in an hour is about 300-400%. The reading on the blood pressure gadgets used for measuring blood pressure in my ankles dropped to 12 but are now up to 100. My ambition is to be able to run and get a second wind. I have always thought that improvement would come on an exponential curve. I am hoping to achieve this objective before the end of the year. On supplements I take Vitamin B 3, 6 & 12. on medical advice. The homocystine was high which the B3 & B6 are supposed to address. B3 is known as Niacin. I also make a point of eating a spoon of flax seeds a day. Now I am seeing what a little H2O2 can do and I have a forward plan on an interesting notion of Ewalds which is not raw food related. Nevertheless I am open to all suggestions Peter Vegigran [vegigran] 24 October 2003 03:04 rawfood [Raw Food] (Peter) Reverse Heart Disease <<<<<Buergers Disease early stages. Guest guest
Thanks Vegigran, I grind the flax seeds with my teeth. Probably quite a few slip through. If I could sprout them I would try that. They just go to a viscous mess when I try.
