Guest guest
I am on my second day of juice fast. So far so good. However tonite I have to do a enema to cleasne my system of the previous food. I have a question though, can I take my usual vitamins on the juice fast or should i leave them alone until I'm done??? I'm probably going to go 7-10 days, or shorter if my body tells me otherwise.
Guest guest
You should not be taking ANY supplementation during fasting except oxygen. Supplements contain many fillers and toxins. Once you reach a point of detox you will find you no longer need supplementation. Guest guest
Just remember that all Solids / Liquids have to be broken down to their molecular form and that requires work from the digestive system. The whole idea of Juice Fasting is to gradually work your way to water fast. A juice fast is not a true fast; you are just chewing the food for the body. Digestion requires a lot of energy, it is only when Digestion completely stops that the biggest work is done. Guest guest
So a water fast is better? And is distilled water better? All this si so confusing for a person starting out on the road to health. *sighs* d <bwreid67 wrote: Just remember that all Solids / Liquids have to be broken down to their molecular form and that requires work from the digestive system. Guest guest
Your confusion will end once you accomplish a long term juice fast and FEEL SO GOOD! You will WANT TO DO a water fast. Bernadette Don't worry about which water, just worry about completing what you set in your heart is the right way to go. - Egypt Janai rawfood Tuesday, October 28, 2003 8:23 AM Re: [Raw Food] A quick Question (Juice Fast) So a water fast is better? Guest guest
Evian water is quite good. I think there is a case for doing your first fast on juice. On a long fast I quite like to go in and out with a day of juicing. Guest guest
Yes by all means do what is comfortable for you. Do a couple of juice fasts first and work your way up to the water fast. Then when you think you are ready try a water fast for as long as you can. It is alway good to have a high fiber meal (Fresh Greens) pior to and after your water fast. This will give your digestive system a good cleaning. The lining of your digestive system replaces itself every 3-4 days. Peter Gardiner <petergardiner wrote: Evian water is quite good. Guest guest
The water fast is the king of fasts and when you get into fasting there is no better fast. Trouble is it can hit the newbies a bit hard. So they need to be circumspect.
