Raw Ice Cream

Hello,

Does anyone have a recipe to make a raw " ice cream " using an ice

cream maker, raw fruits and ingredients, and no actual dairy

products? I've tried blending frozen fruits such as bananas and

strawberries, but I'd like to make a dish that is more like a real

ice cream in consistency. Thanks...

It’s not the answer you are looking for, but hands down my champion juicer makes

the best Frozen Banana Ice Cream. With the homogenizing plate in it comes out

smooth and creamy just like the real thing. Put the parts in the freezer for

about 15 minute prior to making parts that are not cold makes a difference in

the end product not being as thick (Frozen). If you don’t have one try eBay I

have seen some in there sell pretty cheap. You can buy replacement parts from

champion if needed. The parts are very reasonably priced. If you’re lucky you

might find one at a garage sale. I have used my Vita Mixer and had pretty good

results.

Good Luck,

I don't quite " grok " this sentence, but I think you mean that you put the

parts of the juicer in the freezer for 15 minutes?
