Guest guest
I have a couple questions... 1) what is the blank plate in the Champion juicer? I bought one used and don't have a diagram showing the different parts. I don't think I got something that is blank unless it is the part you slide the stainer plate into without putting the strainer in. 2) what is a young coconut? How do I know if the coconut I buy is young? Does it say somewhere? Perhaps the ones I can pick up from the sidewalk here in South Floriday are young? I just orders that book just mentioned here, The Raw Secrets: The Raw Vegan Diet in the Real World " by Frederic Patenaude. I wish I knew about it a month ago! I have a fast-growing raw library. I will have lots of books for reference. I have been 100% raw for 3 weeks as of today. I saw and heaerd Victoria Boutenkco and ate her gourmet food, and I'll be hearing Paul Nison in a couple of weeks. Tuesday night I am going to a Living Food seminar and food tasting at a local health food store. I am hoping to hook up with some other local raw foodist. I will take along flyers with me about a local rawluck group I am trying to form. This is quite an adventure. Every day is a learning experience. I can't say that I don't think of cooked food, but I don't seriously think of eating any. Guest guest
The piece you are talking about is the blank. It chews up your food without letting the juice out. All the food including the juice comes out where the pulp comes out. This is for making sorbet, nut butters, sauerkraut, ect.. You can still order an owners manual. Yet after juicing and using the blank one time you should not need it. Bernadette I have a couple questions... 1) what is the blank plate in the Champion juicer? Guest guest
> 1) what is the blank plate in the Champion juicer? This piece is just plain plastic with no screen on it. It is for making things like nut butters. My used Champion didn't have one and I was able to get it from the company. You get download the manual for your Champion here: http://www.championjuicer.com/manual.pdf > 2) what is a young coconut? How do I know if the > coconut I buy is young? Guest guest
Viveca; When I went raw I was all alone for 3 years. My lady friend is not even raw. The only contact I had with other raw foodists was through this group. But I found out that there were raw people all around me. I just didn't know. What you are doing should be an inspiration to all of us. We need to look around in our own communities. There are raw people all around us. We just need to find them.
