Guest guest
Jenny, I saw a fascinating documentary about animals and in particular elephants going up into the mountains in Kenya to take salt out of soft rock. Lesser animals were also licking the rock to get their dose. I guess that part of Africa has less salt in its flora. Of course salt was the foundation for the slave trade. The Arabs traded salt for slaves. That said I never bother eating salt directly and have no signs of deficiency in that area. We use the example of mammals in the wild never drinking another animal's milk and so let's look at those same mammals drink water. No eye damage etc. I think this is how God meant us to live. Why do we have to make it SO complicated? I understand buying water if yours is not pure, but I have pristine well water and no money to go buying pricey water when I want avocados! Guest guest
Salt is a preservative so the BUGS won't eat the food. And if the Bugs don't eat it, why should we? rusty
Guest guest
Celtic Salt is full of minerals. Many people are healed by using just Celtic Salt and water. Bernadette
Guest guest
I guess there are many ways of thinking when it comes to salt. If you were going to take Salt the Celtic Sea Salt would be the best road to take. I just don’t understand this; if you can’t drink Seawater why would you take what is left after the water is gone? If you get all of the minerals you need from a natural diet, why poison yourself with something that is not a natural source in the first place. In my opinion sea vegetables would be the best source for concentrated minerals and in an organic form. I do like Sea Salt soaks in the tub for me that is the only use I have for Sea Salt.
