Mark-

Kris Pletsche sells 'beauty-full', top-quality raw

these folks wildcraft seaweed near mendocino and have raw unprocessed nori that they harvest themselves.. it's probably as good a quality as you are going to find.

ummm... good folks,

they wrote the book, "sea vegetable gourmet cookbook and wildcrafter's guide. they taught me 'lots'. their products would be raw but let them know you want raw anyway.

btw, i'm sold out of nori till next year. but there will be a woman wildcrafter from waldron island at the tonasket barter faire (http://www.barterfair.org/). if you don't find anything by then, maybe i can help you out. write me privately.

tell them 'kelpguy' sent you.

norm :))~

To add to my reply...

If you're shopping at a chain health food store like Whole Foods,

they probably won't have raw nori. Your best bet is to order it

online from a raw food source. Since I live in NYC and have access

to raw stores, perhaps someone else can direct you to a good website.
