Guest guest
I am new to the list, but just wanted to add something about the Gallbladder cleanse. I used this cleanse successfully, but I did it a little abreviated. I didn't drink the apple juice nor do the enemas, which a lot of people are uncomfortable with. I drank Kombucha, which is something like weak apple cider vinegar, and I took Cascara Sagrada herb. The herb is useful in clearing the bowels, and is good for the gallbladder as well. I had some stones come out that were as large as peas. Be Well R Free Pop-Up Blocker - Get it now
Guest guest
Hi, R My husband is currently doing this cleanse. He's probably doing a modified version as well and I'm hoping it will work. He's on his second day now. I juice fresh apples for him in the morning (8 of them) and mix a little distilled water. He drinks that and the distilled water all day along with a few doses of psyllium husks (more to keep him full than anything). This morning I also sent a salt water flush with him (and did one myself. UGH. I could barely drink it; it made me want to throw up. I only got half of a quart down). Tomorrow night he'll do the olive oil and lemon juice. Did you feel any different after having passed the stones?? Thanks for posting this; it was encouraging. Guest guest
>Tomorrow night he'll do the olive oil and lemon juice. -- The oil and juice is not so hard to get down especially if you use use the juice of 1/2 a grapefruit along with the lemon. The grapfruit cuts the heavy taste of the oil. The part that I shuddered through was the epsom salts, but it's very necessary to do the amount required when required. After the second dose 2 hours after the first, you'll notice the effects in about a half an hour. But go the full 2 hours after the second dose to be sure you've voided everything before doing the oil. Keep another dose handy for the morning flush and if there should be some discomfort passing the stones in the night [there shoudn't be] then just use one more dose of epsom salts at that time. The magnesium will allow the ducts to stretch open comfortably.. rusty - " Susan " <susan_wilkinson <rawfood > Thursday, December 04, 2003 12:40 PM Re: [Raw Food] Gallstone Cleanse > Hi, R > > My husband is currently doing this cleanse. Guest guest
Hi Rusty, The cleanse he is doing does not call for epsom salts. He's doing the one at www.cleasingorsurgery.com. He didn't do the salt water flush today (using sea salt), for which I am grateful. I did it and found it uncomfortable at the end from " going " so much (mostly salty water). He was at work and that would have been a drag for him. Drinking it was disgusting too, but I'm sure I'll do it again. lol What did you have to use the epsom salts for? Guest guest
> What did you have to use the epsom salts for? - Hi Susan: I assumed it was the Hulda Clark protocol; I have heard of countless successful case histories using this protocol but I have never heard of any other gall stone cleanse. If your hubby's cleanse is not complete I suggest you try this one. My wife is a herbalist and supplement consultant for a local heath supplement chain and she has seen dozens of walking testimonials from people that have avioided surgery using the Hulda Clark protocol. The Epsom salt is an ABSOLUTE MANDATORY part of the cleanse because the dose of magnesium relaxes and opens the ducts making the gallstone ejection easy and painless. Just folow the recipe but you don't have to worry about the zapping or parasite and kidney flush first as included on this site. Those are basic disclaimers that don't affect very many. http://www.curezone.com/cleanse/liver/huldas_recipe.asp rusty " Susan " <susan_wilkinson <rawfood > Thursday, December 04, 2003 7:02 PM Re: [Raw Food] Gallstone Cleanse > Hi Rusty, > > The cleanse he is doing does not call for epsom salts. Guest guest
Hi Susan, I did feel much better after the passing of the stones. I had been having back pain which immediately stopped after the stones passed. Don't forget to use the casgara sagrada herb too. It stimulates the gall bladder and helps everything go according to plan , I think this herb has been overly maligned. It is good for the gall bladder. Once the stones are gone one can digest fats better too. This will improve mental functioning, as essential fatty acids are required, along with B complex vitamins for good mental health. Too much depression in our society is treated with harmful drugs instead of fixing the body's nutritional woes. In Traditional Chinese medicine, a bad gall bladder is associated with bad judgement. After learning more of the role of fat in the functioning of the brain, I understand the basis of this. R
