Hello Roger and All-

I have just begun Dr Fuhrman's 6 week program (I am hoping to use this

program to ease into 100% raw, I appreciate if I could get some help here since

Dr F

is not 100% raw.

in chapter 8 " Your Plan for Substantial Weight Reduction "

Pg 181 " Nuts and seeds are ideal in salad dressings... "

WHAT salad dressing? HE does not give suggestions elsewhere in this chapter.

I am doing the 1 LB salad w raw veg thrown in, usually split up into 2 huge

bowls at 2 dif meals (each happenst to be about 8 oz). What I have been doing is

using chopped tomato, garlic and onion to make the salad " wet " . Any other raw

alternatives?

He states stewed tomatoes, could these be used ? (Again, I realize these are

not raw items).

The goal is basically 1 lb raw green veg/salad, 1 LB cooked green veg and 4

fruits w 1 cup of any of the following: beans, legumes, tofu.

A q regarding the cooked greens. I find 1 LB of bruseel

sprouts, asparagus, green beans, spinach etc is too much. Would it be ok to use the

other veg he says

are ok (i.e. not starchy) such as peppers, eggplant, onions etc?

As far as the 1 LB of cooked I have been doing about 1/2 LB green and 1/2 LB

of the above (slightly roasted)

any other suggestions for taples and what foods work best w this 6 week

program?

Thanks

Jay
