Raw Eating/bible (I knew this was comming)

I just don't understand why people have become so

sensitive about Christianity of late ? I have been

reading this string with interest and feel that it is

directly related to raw food. Also, shouldn't't the

moderator be the one to tell us when we are getting

off track ?

I'm sure most would agree that there a lot of

thoughtless posts to this forum, to which no one

complains. This string was thoughtful, informative,

sincere, honest and polite. What could possibly be so

objectionable ?

I'm not interested in a lot of the posts to this

forum, but I realize that maybe someone else might be,

so I ignore what does not interest me. In this case I

am interested, and feel that it is on topic. Maybe

folks who find this objectionable could be so kind as

to exercise some patience, as the string plays itself

out.

Thanks

Rufus

It's not about being sensitive about christianity. It's about posts

like this:

> repent of his evil (Exodus 32:14).

How is God inconsistent? Why do you call Him evil?

Men are not God. They did not write the Bible on their own. They

wrote what

the Holy Spirit told them to write. The only texts that are inerrant

are

the original. (This is probably where you will find some disagreements

among Christians.) Translations, and with society changing the

meanings of

words, have distorted some passages. However, with consistent reading

and

the willingness to find the truth, you will find it.

on a raw food site.

We've had this argument at least once before, so I'm not going to get

into again with you. All I was asking was to keep the discussion on

topic - it's nothing to get defensive about.

(accidentally hit send before i finished my post...)

If you read my original post, I asked that the conversation be kept

to discussing how raw food and the bible were related. I certainly

wasn't blasting christianity.
