Hi, Jann,

Yep, that's what I'm saying. The only thing I've had any trouble with

at all is doing a lot of apples at once and that's because some of

the skins block the screen. I've found ways to manage this though

when I need to do lots of apples and it's not a problem now. The

other thing is that I run citrus through twice to get it good and

dry, but it's not necessary. Green stuff and carrots, etc. come out

dry on the first run. It also makes great smoothies.

I have to throw in my two cents.

I have owned 5 juicers. The best and most versatile

is the Green Star. One juicer does all. It is a

dual gear metricating juicer. I don't like the

centrifugal ejection juicers, because make the juice

foamy. Noting beats the taste of metricated juice.

Also, I would like to add that I was given an electric

citrus juicer as a Christmas present, and I love it.

It was less then 20 bucks, and I like to start the day

with 2 oranges, a lemon and a grapefruit.

I have had the flu for the past 3 days. I have been

sitting on my couch drinking citrus juice , and

coconut juice. makes getting sick worth while.

Hi Rufus, sorry you're sick. I agree about the masticating juicers.

They definitely make the best juice. The Omega 8002 is very similar

to the Green Star--just less expensive.

Get well!

I've owned probably more than 5 types of juicers over the years. I've

found that, while the Green Star is very good, it does not do it all.

Some fruits, such as pineapple, will clog it almost instantly, while

the Champion has no problem with it. I do tend to put pulp of fruits

and veggies back through the champion to extract more juice, but in

many ways it is more versitile. On the other hand, the Champion has a

hard time with greens, but the Green Star juices them with ease. I

like having both these juicers, as they compliment each other.

Jeff

PS: I have not tried a Sampson.
