Guest guest
This is a great deal. After much searching for the best price, I paid $379 last year. Guest guest
I want to thank you all for all your help in comparing the k-tec + the vita-mix . The comparason chart that Mike sent really helped seal my decision . I ended up going with K-Tec and purchased it from Open Chute because the price was good 319 including shipping and handling and the fact they only sell brand new equipment . Also , they were very nice and readily available everytime I called . They wouldnt charge me a restocking fee if I received a defective unit and you always got a Real person to talk to who was very pleasant . Nice energy . I had a bad experience calling rawguru . Each time I called I thought I got the wrong number and was bothering someone . I left my number once , but no one called back . And , even though their prices list low , there are membership fees . .I just didnt get a good feeling at all . Had I wanted used or gently used e-bay had some great prices but I havent used e-bay before and was a bit timid . All in all , I am just glad I finally ordered one and I sincerely thank all of you for helping me make my personal best decision .
Guest guest
I have a K-tec myself and I do not regret my own decision to get it, despite having had to replace the carafe after only a couple of months use. This new carafe has held up well after 6 months and I use it every morning, sometimes 2 or 3 times in a day. Someone mentioned that the two blenders are both noisey. Well the Champ is way noisier. My friend has the Vitamix. So, you who just ordered yours, I highly recommend getting ear muffs and I even have mine out in the garage so as not to subject anyone to the damaging noise of it. I got mine at the link below, and my toddler has the junior ear muffs: http://shop.store./earplugstore/earmuffs.html Miko rawfood , ztarf <no_reply> wrote: > I want to thank you all for all your help in comparing the k- tec + > the vita-mix . Guest guest
Miko , thank you for the website with the ear muffs . Is ther a specific type you use , like or reccomend ? Also , its a good idea to think about my kids too . If they are not in the kitchen , but the room next to it do you think they would be o.k. ? Thanks ! Guest guest
I've gone through the previous posts looking for this comparison chart on the K-Tec, Vita Mix. I can't find it, can anyone help ? Thanks, Leslie
Guest guest
I'm not sure anyone mentioned that the Vita Mix has a larger caraffe. At least I think it does. I've been meaning to check the sizes. On Mon, 26 Jan 2004, Leslie wrote: > I've gone through the previous posts looking for this comparison chart on the > K-Tec, Vita Mix.
