Guest guest
Hi Nyia. I'm a newbie too. I don't think you can eat raw beans, but you can sprout them and turn them into a living food. For more info on doing this, go to spoutpeople.com - they have a ton of info on sprouting seeds, peas, and beans. HTH! Guest guest
I am new too. I've started growing sprouts myself last Jan. of this year. I bought automatic sprouter machine from http://www.freshlifesprouter.com/ They have good price compared to other places. I like it a lot and my husband enjoyed the taste of fresh sprouts. He is a sandwich man and he enjoyed having sprouts in his sandwiches. We've tried sample mixed seeds and they are really delicious and lasted longer in refrigerator than those sprouts I've bought from the store. I've tried growing sprouts in jar and it is really time consuming and only produced small amount of sprouts for us to eat, whereas this machine gave us plenty, since I eat them for lunch and dinner everyday. Also, you can check out information in www.sproutman.com I have not done any cooking with beans and seeds. Just sprouting and eating them as is. They are really delicious.
