Guest guest
Coming here and reading has been a big inspiration for me. I have been reading so many books and websites about people changing their lives and it is good to know that there are really people out there living like this. I have added only a few raw meals into my day and I can tell already the difference between the two. When I eat cooked and or processed foods I immediately get stomach pain and indigestion. That is my body telling me it is time to move on and live a raw life. And now I am getting positive energy from everyone here to keep on track. Guest guest
>>I hope to continue living like this. I think I can. I think I can. Ditto Rich... I been a vegetarian for close to 30 years and totally raw now for 60 days. I have a five year plan... I think the conversion is one month raw for every year of cooked. Two months doesn't sound like a lot of time but so many positive things have happened both physically and mentally in this period that I can tell you with a high degree of confidence I'll never go back. Personally I don't see the point in trying to get a bunch of foods to simulate cooked foods either, but maybe in the beginning it may help to change over to the raw lifestyle. Who knows, it's a personal thing anyway. I thank my lucky stars everyday that I finally woke up and gravitated to a lifestyle that fits every other section of my life like the last piece of a puzzle finally putting it all together. I hope to continue living like this. I know I can. I know I can. :>) Jesse Connecticut

Ditto Jesse. I have about sixty days too and I couldn't have said it any better. > I thank my lucky stars everyday that I finally woke up and gravitated to a > lifestyle that fits every other section of my life like the last piece of a > puzzle finally putting it all together. I want all the other sections of my life to fit together, like believing that sex isn't even thought about unless you're married with the goal of having children. And letting go of television completely. Enjoying meditation, not just doing it because I feel a need to. > > I hope to continue living like this. I know I can. Guest guest
Rich, That's funny that you mention cutting back on TV. I have dropped TV as well from my daily routine. I watch a one hour pre-recorded show once a week and that's it. There seems to be an annoying frequency/vibration coming from it now that I've been raw for a couple of months. I listen to a lot more non-commercial radio in the background now. I think one small part of sex is a lot about creating a one-ness with another person. I've been married for over ten years and though the frequency of sex is less the quality of time we spend together is better. I'm not saying that you have to sacrifice one for the other but importance's change and sometimes just walking in the park in the warm sun holding hands and talking becomes way more important than anything else. Guest guest
Yea, I guess it's just that TV has so much that's not very moral, that I'm better off going without it completely. Rather than trying to watch just what's worthwhile which is impossible to do. Or maybe it's just my time should be spent doing other things.
