Is there anyone out there that is seeing health problems clear up

eating nothing but raw that DOES drink coffee with creamer? This is

the only thing I miss, and would like to know if I can drink coffee

and still be healthy?

Carson,

I miss coffee, too, almost to the point of overlooking the fact that it’s a

roasted beverage. Unfortunately, there are just too many health risks associated

with coffee and caffeine in general. Some minor potential side effects are:

jumpiness, heart palpitations, stomach irritation, diarrhea and disturbed sleep.

Also, a number of studies have connected caffeine to some fairly serious health

problems, such as fibrocystic breast disease, high blood pressure, arrhythmias,

and some forms of cancer. I tried decaf, but it still contains some caffeine so

I gave that up as well. However, my one non-raw vice are herb teas.

I know, I know, not 100% raw, but I delude myself by saying that my water gets

no hotter than a dehydrator lol

Please don’t shoot the messenger,

Krisztina

Hi Carson,

Since I am fruitarian I cannot drink nor coffee nor alcohol, they

are too strong for me just when I look at them. So there is nothing

to miss for me.

However, if you miss coffee so much, do not worry about it so much.

You do not need to play the plays of beeing 100%. On the other side,

of course you can be 100% if you really want.

It is all just upon you. Be just free and decide as you wish. Our

body needs some time to leave our addictions and our tastes are

constantly changing so after some time you probably will not miss it

anymore. I had the same with chocolate,

carson, i started raw - as much as i can at this time - back at the

beginning of the year - i've seen changes in skin, mood, overall well

being, weight loss, energy level. . . . . i drink coffee everyday

(black) and i eat cooked fish - so i would say that i see/feel a

difference - i suggest that you try it and see how you do with it? if

you really miss it that much then you may feel worse not having it vs.

having it :o)

If I wasn't raw, one of the first things I would go to would be

coffee. Nothing better on the SAD diet than that stuff.
