<<Sentient Vegan Diet means no meat, fish, eggs, dairy, onion, garlic

or mushroom.>>

I was reading this post about the meditation/dinner and am curious as to why

anyone would exclude garlic, onion, and mushroom from their diets. I've never

heard of this, unless it's allergies. Just wondering! Thanks. : )

Kristy,

Onion, garlic and mushrooms are believed to be stimulating the mind.

Its a general practice of people who are practicing spiritual path

avoid stimulating foods. Onion can be substituted with ginger and

garlic with asafoetida. I am not an expert in this area, but I know

its a practice followed in Hinduism.

No, see, dirt isn't dirty. It's natural. Meant to be.

The quotation is zero sum thinking.

You can see the distinction.

Although construction of the Notre Dame Cathedral in Strasbourg started in

1015, it was not until 1439 that the spire was completed. We've seen this,

and the one in Paris, and both are worth the trip.
