Guest guest
I have been with the flu since last Saturday. My chest and throat hurt, dry cough, generalized weakness. I have not taken any medications as I would have in hte past. Any suggestions are more than welcome because I feel quite miserable. Guest guest
Greetings, Patricia! Sorry to hear about your ill health. I felt the flu coming on me a couple weeks ago, but we knocked it out using the following method: - Goldenseal herbal tea (boosts your immune system). Drink one cup in the morning and one in the evening for three days and then stop. - Fenugreek powder. (Assists in the recovery from ill health and reduces mucous accumulation) On a daily basis take one tablespoon of fenugreek, stir it in a cup of water, allow it to settle to the bottom (maybe and hour or so) and drink the liquid off the top. You can even drink this once a day while you are in good health to strengthen your immune system. - Avoid starchy foods. Guest guest
‘Throat Coat Tea’ by Traditional Medicinals is very nice for sore/dry throats. Very soothing. You can find it at most health food stores. Patricia Monica [patrger] Wednesday, December 10, 2003 7:11 AM Flu I have been with the flu since last Saturday.
