Guest guest
When and where are the food prep classes? I will have more time in the summer, but I am also interested. Thanks for sharing. Pam
Guest guest
So, I had to chime in and thank Lynda publically (though I already thanked her a few times via email...) For me - who works from home with 2 young kids to take care of - I just feel I need some extra help getting some food to help me stick to this thing. I'm always making meals for everyone and I forget about myself and then I get hungry and the last thing I want to do is THINK (about what and how I'm going to make something.) I've got it so I have my breakfast pretty regular with the things I make and like to eat, lunch is also pretty OK but dinners always get me. I wanted things like bread and crackers - I make pate type things (though, I *know* now that I've got to get some kind of appliance to make these things more smoother in texture... ) Anyway, long lead-up, but I got some things from Lynda: the dinner because it just sounded good and a lasagna because that sounded good and bread and crackers. I was so excited to receive this food, I can't even tell you. I ate the dinner at like 5 because I couldn't wait (such a nerd) and sampled some of the lasagna because, again, I couldn't wait. Well, let me tell you - it was sooooooooooooo good. I told my husband he had to try this lasagna and he tried it. So he takes a bite and goes, " Oh my god, this is incredible. " He thought for sure there was ricotta in there. So SIGN ME UP for a food preparation class! ;-) And thanks again to Lynda for preparing all this with so much love and care. We have been thoroughly enjoying this food. Linda
Guest guest
Cherie, my friend Sandi did a video tape of food prep in New York last month. When we visited and prepared food for Raw Soul : Lillian Butler & Eddie Robinson ( Elaine & Sunyatta are working on setting up a meeting in DC for us all to get together. As soon as she has it ready. I will tell the world. In the mean time March 6th & 7th I will host a day Live Food Workshop in Richmond. This workshop will give you everything and more that you need to know to stay 100% raw for life.Incidentally this is a Live Food Certification Workshop. Contact me off line to discuss this in more detail if you want. Also Elaine has plans to set up a pot luck very soon this will give us all a chance to meet and eat. Thanks Cherie for all your support; Lynda

So, to Lynda, will there ever be a video tape of the food prep classes for those of us who don't live in the area? I'd be willing to buy a tape to learn!
