Hello Raw Soul.

Well, while my family and I are still not at 100% raw, we're getting

closer.

I wanted to share my story (or should I say, my daughter's story)

with you.

My little girl from the age of 2 years old had eczema - a condition

of the skin that is sometimes said to be " hereditary " and it causes

dry, scaly patches on the skin that can sometimes cover areas of the

body such as the face, creases of the arms/legs, elbows..but can

pretty much occur anywhere on the body.

My baby had this condition in the worst way. She spent most days

and especially nights scratching, bleeding and oozing.

I tried just about everything out there...hydrocortizone and

stronger steroid-based cortizone creams (doctor-prescribed), special

soaps, special baths (oatmeal baths), oils, creams, grease, butters,

ointments, salves, even herbs.

NOTHING worked. Yeah, sometimes I'd see a temporary improvement,

but then she'd have flare-ups and the " miracle treatments " would

cease to work anymore.

Well, it wasn't until the past couple of months or so that I took

notice of something. My baby's face was beginning to clear up. Her

legs were beginning to go from having a very thick layer of

discolored skin to a more normal looking skin.

I showed my husband and he marveled as much as I did.

What had we done differently? Well, we started changing the way our

household eats. My daughter had been eating a LOT of fresh fruits

and veggies, most of the day all she wanted to eat was fruit.

Raw foods were allowing her body to heal properly.

Another remarkable thing, she used to not be able to eat ANY citrus

fruit without breaking out. When we first began eating more raw, I

noticed that after eating an orange, she would break out. I kept

them from her for a while and had her taking a gentle children's

herbal colon cleanse called KidLax. Now, she can eat all the

oranges she wants and no effects. She can also eat nuts which was

something else that was a no-no for her in the past.

The only thing is, while her face, elbows, knees, backs of her legs

and her buttocks (another place she broke out at) all cleared up and

the pigment is coming back to her skin, it seems as though her hands

are still effected. It's as if the toxins in her system have just

concentrated into her hands. I monitor them with what she eats and

observe what causes problems. They're slowly getting better, but

still not totally healed.

But it's still very miraculous to me to have her have gone this long

and her skin is so pretty. No more itching and scratching and

misery for her.

Sorry this post was so long. But I did post some before and after

pictures in the photo section of this forum.

lst Under the name,

Eczema Progress (or something like that)

The before pictures were not of her skin at it's absolute worst, but

bad enough that you will see the dramatic difference!

I know that once we are 100%, it will only get better and better.

Hope this encourages someone else who may be going through the

same. I plan to document and put her story on the web so that other

individuals who may be suffering from this or know someone can see

that they don't need to invest in tons of potions...just eat RAW!

Peace,

Cherie

Great story, thanks for sharing.

Children’s natural desire for fruit

is further evidence that fruit is the primary food for man/woman, in my

view. Greens are necessary for transitioning to raw, no question, but

when you reach a certain level in this diet we should largely eat fruit.

BTW, thanks to the er who posted

the pangaia website, www.pangaia.com.

They are sending me a fresh jackfruit, “a zieman pink variety over 10 lbs

from their best tree”! And 2 maganya (big) mamae sapotes that weigh over

3 pounds each!! JJJ

Until I move to my natural environment

(the tropics) anyone interested in obtaining our natural food let me

know. We can have our own Tropical Co-op. I plan on

ordering young green UNSHAVEN coconuts, jackfruits, cherimoya, or whatever else

is in season.

Are you serious about a Tropical Co-op? Sounds good to me.
