Guest guest
Thanks Elaine for the morning energy and thanks to those who emailed the juice recipes. I'll finish my fast Monday. I bought abunch of bannanas and to sapidillo's from Mom's last nite and they both shall be ripened by Tuesday although I'm not in a rush to eat at this point. As for weight loss unfortunately I did lose 20 lbs. So some more push ups and dips and squats and we'll be fine. Side note, some good friends of mine (I call them my spiritual parents) Hank and Yemi Bates are opening up a purification house in Selma Al in addition to the one already operating in Cottonwood Al. So if you know anyone interested in a cleansing or transitioning to raw in that area or interested in traveling their, I'm sure they would appreciate the oppotunity to be of service. peace and inspiration, Mark
Guest guest
Oh Elaine, I LOVED the 21 day challenge soooooooooo much I’d like to do it again. They say it takes your brain 3 weeks (21 days) to adjust to something new. Personally I made it 15 days, so I was 6 shy of the new mind set!! I would love to go for it again if anyone who missed the first challenge or would like to continue for another 3 weeks!!! I do so much better when I know others are on the same journey. Anyone want to venture down another 21 day challenge?? In my 15 days I experienced better skin, healthy glow, lady bugs landed on me all the time (more than 10 this early in the season ~ they are good luck you know!) I lost 10 pounds (gained back some on the past week of cooked ~ started with my husband’s 40th b-day party, we had relatives in town and I made all my favorites for THEM~ then thought I could handle a sample of this a sample of that and next thing you know I’m cooked and disgusted…..haven’t worked out since his birthday either???) I also had NUMEROUS “coincidence” experiences where I would think of someone I hadn’t seen in forever and either they would call, I’d pass them in traffic or run into them at a store….it was crazy, I chalk it up to being more connected with the universe. SO~ I’d like to try again. I have a triathlon coming up June 6th so I’d like the next 5 weeks to be a good balance of raw and exercise. I thought with a 3 week all raw cleansing challenge it would help me get back on the wagon. Please let me know if anyone out there is continuing on their challenge or starting a new one today. I’d love some company. BEV E. Rice-Fells [shortydemp] Saturday, May 01, 2004 6:01 AM ; bellydancingsisters CONGRATULATIONS EVERYONE! ALRIGHT! YES! YES! YES! GREETINGS MEMBERS: CONGRATULATIONS! Guest guest
Hello Bev and everyone...I am starting my 21 day challenge today...and I am continuing to prepare cooked vegan food for my daughter...it will be an interesting balance, but I've been saying to myself...what is 21 days of my life (with a bonus of a better connection to the universe, and increased health!)? I can decide later what I want to do longterm...and by the way, although my daughter is saying ugh, I don't want any, etc., she is also saying save me some of that almond milk, give me some of that raw dessert! Guest guest
Basically everyone picks a personal goal for themselves. Some people may choose to do a 21 day juice fast. Others may choose to try for 100% raw. Others may choose to do 50% raw. Basically you can do anything, just pick a goal that challenges you to be better. I am personally going for 95-100% raw and incorporating a regular exercise plan. I have heard from 4 other people who are interested in starting now or the 7th. So good luck to you and glad you are starting with us. BEV ITeemer [iTeemer] Saturday, May 01, 2004 11:06 PM Re: CONGRATULATIONS EVERYONE! I would like to start the 21 day challenge with you.
