Guest guest
I am on my cleansing journey and someone was telling me about taking black walnut tinture. Does anyone have any info on that? I would greatly appreciate it. Inez Teemer Founder The Black Vegetarian Society of ILL
Guest guest
Hi Raw Soul - When my daughter was little someone told me to give her Black Walnut because we suspected she had parasites, which I did instead of the traditional treatments (which could be harmful to the kidneys). It was supposed to be gentle enough in small doses for a child. Black Walnut cleanses the blood, cleans out parasites, and candida, etc. I have been thinking about that too (cleansing), and was going to send away for a cleanser, but the company wasn't being specific about what was in the cleanser. I am thinking it will just be easier and cheaper for me to get the Black Walnut! Thanks for bringing it up! Guest guest
Watermelon, apples, wheatgrass juice, grapefruit and other natural cleansers may be among the safest ways to cleanse the body. I have heard that store bought cleansers can do a number on your system, especially if they are used repeatedly. Roz Gruben and George Graham said that one of the biggest problems they see coming in to their care is people who have used cleansers to detox their liver and I think they said intestines, too. I don’t know the details of what they meant. They just mentioned it at a workshop under the two biggest pitfalls people experience with raw. 1. Too high fat in their diet and 2. Too much damage from cleansers. They recommend cleansing through natural foods that you could pick from a tree or find in nature yourself. Just thought I’d pass that along, wish I had more details. I haven’t heard anything about black walnut/cleansing, but would tend to go with nature and like to hear more about it if anyone knows more. FYI ~ I have heard if you have problems with ants, putting black walnut in their trail will stop them from coming in.
