Guest guest
Greetings Members: When I launched this support group in October last year, as enthusiastic as I was, I never expected that I was placing myself in a position to meet so many interesting people, be a part of many exciting activities and helping quite a few of you either on line or off, by phone and up front and personal. It's also been very rewarding for me to learn that all of my efforts and research is paying off. (The research never stops) I'd like to take time to thank Mark for hosting our May 29th Potluck at his home in VA. We enjoyed ourselves late into the evening chatting and saw the smallest vegetable garden ever, in the largest yard, but you had it going Mark, and we're still waiting for those marinated greens. To Denise and Wanda, on June 19, were the perfect hostesses. Denise welcomed us to her lovely home in MD under difficult circumstances. While listening to very relaxing music, there were interesting conversations here and there while henna paintings and partial body messages going on all at once while tasting tasty pate's and salads. Last but not least, Ron gave new meaning to the term "RAW JUICE BAR." From Fire Water to Fresh Watermelon Juice and stopping off in between, taste buds were tantalized. Thank you, again, and Wanda, we're waiting for some pics. If everyone's schedules have been as busy as mine, along with summer vacations, camp and all that families share during the summer months, it's no wonder we didn't have any takers for a July Potluck. However, we do have a date of August 21st set for the next Potluck. More information with all of the details are forthcoming so mark you calendars. Additionally, don't forget to mark your calendars for our 1st "Brunch Luck" "YUM" (ALL BREAKFAST FOODS!) to be held here at my home on September 25th, again details are forthcoming. I'd like to also say thanks to Lynda Carter for presenting a most informative Alive and Raw 2-day Workshop here on July 17th and 18th. (Pictures are posted in 's homepage in "Photos") A big thank you also goes to Pam Hooks who gave up her weekend to drive here from NJ to present the class with a small lecture on Fasting and Sprouting, and a full demonstration and taste testing of fresh wheat grass juice. What more can I say Lynda, I believe Ron and I lost a pound per day being your runners. (Dr. Amen, thanks for providing the MSM. It really paid off ) We're still open for additional activities, recommendations and suggestions from you, members. Feel free to be creative. Let us know of new and exciting things that you may wish to see happen here with . If anyone is interested in any of the monthy area "Meet-ups" let me know. I'd like to meet more of you if possible. Good Health to You All Elaine

Guest guest
Thanks Elaine for all your time and effort, and your maintaining a healthing balance in our community. i know we (me) can be a handful at time. I've learned valuble lessons from you and ron especially in interacting w/my fellow souls. Just back from Honduras, what a wonderful place. Mangoes falling off the trees everyday. I had a dolphin come swim around me and touch me several times while Iwas swimming in the ocean. On fabulous experience was seeing the natives from every color from the darkest to the lightest and all living in harmony as Hondurians as opposed to the Blacks, The Spanish, ect. That concept of color was not present as far as I could see.I'll be in Niagra Falls at the next potluch, but will surely make the brunch in September. peace and blessings, Mark In a message dated 7/26/2004 11:03:42 PM Eastern Daylight Time, " E.
