Guest guest
Greetings All, I am traveling doing workshops, etc. in Cali now so I have limited access to e-mail. If you have questions about insurance for Dr. Victor you should call his office or go by (he is in Silver Spring - 2 blocks from the whole Foods on Georgia/Colesville). When we had insurance (Blue Cross/Blue Shield) his office submitted the all the reimbursements - and it all worked out. Even though we don't have insurance any longer we still use him as our regular family dentist. Matt is working on having all his mercury (silver) fillings taken out. I had the author of Whole Body Dentistry and Dr. Victor on a show together as guests the radio with me last year. It's a great book. I may have to do that show again. :-) See you all soon. ~Sunyatta > > atzzill > 2004/08/03 Tue AM 07:29:04 CDT > > Re: how healthy is raw? > > Blessings, > I would like to have a holistic dentist as well. Guest guest
Greetings Members: I'd like to personally thank all who contributed to the information on dental hygiene. The websites were helpful and Gideons' article was especially informative. Although we're not using any of the commercial toothpastes, I did read the lable on what we are using and found that it contained glycerine. You know what file it's going into. Now, can anyone recommend any particular bar soap that you know of that's used for brushing teeth with? Thanks. Good Health to You Elaine Take Mail with you! Get it on your mobile phone. Guest guest
Greetings, I had a difficult time finding a bar soap without glycerin. I purchased a Dr.Bronner's soap made from a combination of oils including jojoba, hemp and tea tree. I think the oils turn to glycerin. Perhaps its easier to wash off the glycerin from a soap than from a paste (?). love and light pam
Guest guest
I've been using baking soda/mixed w/ water and rinsing w/food grade peroxide for a few years now and have had no new cavities or dental issues. I let the baking soda soak in my mouth to eliminate the abrasion. I believe the aluminum is pertaining to baking powder not baking soda? I also use tee tre oil and clove bud w/water when I did have teeth concerns and while waiting to get a tooth removed this eliminated pain and infection for over two weeks. In Chinese medicine it's suggested one uses food grade peroxide daily if you have root canals, which I do and at this point not ready to have them removed peace and love, Mark
Guest guest
Hi Raw Soul: Is there a big difference between the food grade perioxide and other perioxide? Guest guest
The extra fragrances and chemicals added make it toxic
Guest guest
Greetings Members: I found what I needed without looking past my own bathroom shelf. A wise old lady once told us that "You Can Have Too Many Things". Well, she was proven to be right once again. Approximately two years ago when we began our raw journey we were introduced to a dental product and was told it was the best. We used it for a while then later, just as beginners will do, we got cute and tried something else that resembled what we were accustomed to. . . a natural toothpaste. There's a lot of truth in the old saying "What goes around, comes around". Well to get to the point, what I rediscovered on my shelf was: ECO-DENT Daily Care (powder for brushing) ECO-DENT TartarGuard (powder) ECO-DENT ExtraBrite (powder) and today I purchased ECO-DENT Ultimate Essential MouthCare Natural Daily Rinse All of the products are alcohol and glycerine free. Thanks again, all for alerting me to think twice. "E. Rice-Fells" <shortydemp wrote: Greetings Members: I'd like to personally thank all who contributed to the information on dental hygiene.
