Guest guest Posted October 13, 2004 Report Share Posted October 13, 2004 As part of the Natural Products Expo East/Organic Products Expo- Biofach America Tradeshow at the Washington Convention Center this week, an organic farmers' market will be presented on Thursday, October 14, 2004, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, outdoors on L Street, NW, between 7th and 9th Streets. Entitled " Fresh Ideas Organic Farmers' Market, " this is an opportunity to learn about organic products from the people who produce them, and sample and purchase a wide range of certified organic products, including farm-fresh produce, meats, dairy products and specialty foods. The farmers' market is a one-day event and is open to the public. The tradeshow is for registered industry members only. On October 14th, L Street will be closed starting at 8:00 AM and will reopen at the end of the farmers' market at 6:00 PM.
