Guest guest
I’m now on the 6th day of 100% COCONUT WATER and I feel super fantastic. No weakness, no detox symptoms, I don’t feel like I’m on a fast. Yesterday I had a 2 hour rigorous capoeira workout. It has also been moving my bowels daily, no enema here or needed. From our Jamaica trip, Aris broke down the whole philosophy of water (which I will have soon on DVD). First and foremost the best water by far is coconut water. The young coconut water is one, a LIVING, ORGANIC, NATURALLY DISTILLED water. The coconut tree is a distiller where the sun is pulling inorganic minerals from the earth and ocean through the tree and packing it into the breast of the tree, the breast of the earth, the green coconut shell (which resembles a breast of a woman). The second best is the water we get from fruits and vegetables. From the cucumber or sugarless watermelon we can get 2 cups of organic flavored cucumber water from 1 cucumber which has organic iron, chlorophyll and other vitamins and minerals in organic living form. The third best option is rainwater before it hits the ground where there are inorganic minerals. That option isn’t available to our toxic environment. The fourth option is a mountain spring water. Now, what not to drink is man-made distilled water, reverse osmosis, well water, and the worst is trinity spring water. All of these waters are dead or either have heavy inorganic minerals that the human body cannot process. We pay a lot of money for these waters and it is out of ignorance that we are supporting the water business, because it has now become big business. As raw foodists, realizing the body is 75% water, the brain is 85% water, water is by far the most important element that we are putting into our body. So the water that we take in should be a live water that is organic and naturally distilled. If we don’t take in dead food, then why take in dead water? If you can’t get coconut water, then nature provides water in juice form from organic fruits and vegetable. But I can personally attest, coconut water is the BEST. Guest guest
A note on water: When we were in Hawaii, they sold bottled water from there. (I think it was Hawiian Spring water). We were told that it is legal for them (and they do)to put regular tap water in the bottled water as long as it was not more than 50% from tap. Thanks for the info Khepre. Guest guest
Greetings Khepere, Welcome back. From all of the buzz going around I know your trip was fantastic! Now about the water. Your point is well taken and by the same token does that mean that you agree with the FDA's revised daily food chart recommending 9 a day of F & V's? Do you believe that 9 a day will supply us with the amount of water required? OR, should we all practice as I do in paying attention to your body's water retention? The way I test myself is by the ease of slipping my wedding band on and off my finger each morning. If it slips off with ease I'm fully hydrated, if not, my system is stagnated. Second, my ankles will swell if proper flushing and hydration is not at MY body's required level. I am one who has a water delivery each month but must admit that since going raw over two years now, I probably consume about a quarter of the amount that I did prior to and for some reason am constantly on a guilt trip. I use it for most everything in food prep. So much for brain washing, it takes a while to undo what's been taught for so many years. I do however, take in as much F & V's and coconut water as possible. Give me your thoughtsKhepere Anu <tradershogun wrote: I’m now on the 6th day of 100% COCONUT WATER and I feel super fantastic.
