Guest guest
Greetings Family, It’s interesting and unfortunate how much we are not told by the medical establishment when it comes to vaccinations. I’ve done a number of radio programs on this topic. Here are some recommended links for education about vaccinations. AS parents (can concerned relatives) we should at least have the information we need to make informed choices on vaccinations. http://www.909shot.com/ http://www.mothering.com/articles/growing_child/vaccines/wake.html http://www.vaccinationnews.com/DailyNews/August2001/NearlyAllCanQualRelExemp.htm Be well, ~Sunyatta www.VegSoul.com zatitie [zatitie] Saturday, October 23, 2004 8:52 AM Re: Boosting Immunity You may already know this, forgive me if I am being redundant. You don't have to give your child shots for school. You can request a religious or medical waiver. Generally you are not told you have this option, but you do have the option. Guest guest
Regarding boosting immunity, I have found juicing to be one of the best things for our family. Forget the flu shot, just drink one 6 oz (or more) glass of carrot or other vet/fruit juice a day. I was taking this for granted this past summer and due to lots going on I stopped juicing for a few weeks and before I knew it the family was starting to get colds, etc. Then as soon as I started juicing again, all cleared up and they continue to do well. I often throw in a little wheat grass too, but if I make it too strong my sons have a hard time getting it down. Guest guest
Thank you Raw Soul for the information and links. At the time I knew I had the option to abstain from getting her innoculations, but I caved into the pressure I was feeling. The medical community was pretty hostile and implied I was neglectful, even though I had studied the options and could site references. I was doing about 50% raw then and my daughter was eating pretty healthy and still nursing. I decided to put her into childcare about 2 days a week, and though she had never become sick before, she was suddenly sick all the time. Thinking about it now (in case there are mom's who are considering this option, and also alternative options for childcare) I should have spent more intentional time in making sure her immunity level was higher before putting her with other kids. At the time, I was surprised that she did get sick and then I was afraid not to get her shots. She started getting her shots one type at a time about 3 years and I felt pretty good about that, even though we were usually greeted with nurses/doctors making horrible faces. Thank goodness there are more truly educated physicians, naturopaths, and other health providers...and !!Ashtarra
Guest guest
Ashtara, That's a really good point, about placing your veggie child in large day care environments. When my child was small I always found a home provider who had only my child or one other child. I stayed home most of the time with her, I began to sell things from home and just get creative with the finances. The longer you breast feed the stronger the immunity. I use to be really concerned about her going to public swimming pools. I really learned how to have faith, pray and use light to protect while raising my daughter. I still pray for her, send her a protecting light, and light candles for her. Do you live in the Washington/MD area, if so I can help out with child care from time to time. Z I gave my child her first shot at 15, what a mistake. Again the decision was driven by fear. They are now putting micro chips in some of theses shots, just think we will be scanned soon, like a bag of chips.
Guest guest
Hello / " Z " Thanks for the childcare offer...I live in NY, and at 14, my childcare concerns about my daughter are a little different now (smile)...I wanted to ask about the microchips in the shot...That is shocking to me. Could you explain a little more?? Thanks, Ashtarra
Guest guest
Interesting that some shots contain chips. What is the original source of that information? Incisions can be made to insert chips, but though a needle? zatitie [zatitie]Sunday, October 24, 2004 4:31 PM Subject: Re: Boosting Immunity Ashtara, That's a really good point, about placing your veggie child in large day care environments. Guest guest
I heard about this micro chip, the size of a grain of rice about a year ago on www.coasttocoastam, an on the Art Bell/George Noorey radio show. I heard it again a few weeks ago on main stream news. It's not in all shots, but it has potential. They are going to market it as a perk, you'll be able to go to the head of the line in supermarket, airports....... Currently they are marketing it so you can have all your medical records with you at all time as well as keeping children safe, the chip will have the ability to know where your are at all times. Guest guest
Crazy isn’t it! I remember hearing about it years ago….before the ATM card and thinking how on earth would they be able to scan something/one and get so much info on them. Back when I heard about it, it definitely took more of a conspiracy theory angle about the government tracking for some reason….similar to the fear of social security numbers when they first came to pass. But it definitely seems so very unnatural anyway! Guest guest
Hello /Z: How scary. I read on BBC where people are checking into resorts and getting microchips in their arms at the bars, so the tab can be rung up on the microchip....I don't think it just takes a sober person to question this, but apparently it must. It's very popular...Ashtarra
