Guest guest
Blessings! Just wanted to share a quick recipe I've been sustaining myself with for the past month or so: Aris sent us a recipe for eggplant lasangna that included a tahini sauce. I've taken that recipe: 1 cup raw tahini 1 cup cold pressed olive oil honey to taste water spices and I've added to it cumin, cashews, or most recently, raw macadamian nuts. I eat it with kale salad and its sooo good. Love and laughter pam
Guest guest
Hi Family... I have been on 99.9% raw since February of this year. I very, very occasionally have some pastuerized orange juice when I just don't feel like making juice and it is handy. Everything else has been raw and I don't want to turn back, if only for vanity reasons..But, I am not feeling as strong about raw tonight...Tonight I really just wanted a piece of pizza, as I warmed some in the oven for my daughter. I have a demanding job and I don't have the time (or don't choose to take the time, it doesn't seem like there is any) to make many of the dishes I see in the recipe books. I make one full meal each week. I do make great salads and I actually love tahini dressing, but I need something different. Someone e-mailed about a breakfast drink with tahini and bananas a while ago on and I really enjoy that drink almost daily. I know that I need to go somewhere where raw food is served, but those options are far away and I won't be able to leave where I live anytime soon. I've thought about ordering some foods that can be shipped. Any other ideas? Thanks....Ashtarra
Guest guest
Ashtarra, This might sound like a promo but many people feel like that . That's why I ship Live food around the country and deliver up and down the eastern seaboard. Everybody wants something nice and something they don't have to labor over. So when your tried of being hungry for something that has a great taste. E-mail me for the weekly menu. aliveandraw.com or see what 's on the site. Raw pizza has a taste that is much better than cooked pizza. I bet your daughter would like raw pizza too. Have a fruitful Day, Lynda

Guest guest
I forgot to mention lemon. Lemon juice adds to the flavor of the dressing. love, truth, laughter pam
Guest guest
Hello Raw Soul/Lynda: No, I didn't feel like what you said is a promo. I hope others understand that already prepared raw foods/raw foods restaurants may not be as abundant yet in different parts of the country and there are some extremely busy folks who for various reasons can't do a raw meal as much as they would like. Please let me know if you are ever in the Philadelphia area, I'll drive down. Actually, I read the information about the live food brunch that is today and your past choices between the SAD diet and living foods. I got up, made a spinach/carrot juice, felt the pulse of the energy of the juice running through my body and regained my resolve of no turning back. I am back on " track, " getting ready to go get some " lemons " to make a lasagne with the tahini dressing...Thanks and Blessings to Everyone....Ashtarra
