Everyone is warmly invited to participate in a holiday Raw Vegan

Potluck this Sunday, December 5 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the home

of Mary Vogel on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC.

 

Want to prepare a raw vegan version of your favorite holiday dish

and share it with an appreciative audience – instead of your

somewhat perplexed family and co-workers? This is the place!

 

Not feeling certain about preparing a raw recipe? Bring some fresh

fruit, a salad, or something simple. It's really ok! Really! If

you're feeling adventurous but need some ideas for recipes, check

out http://rawfoods.com/recipes/. But if you're just curious and

not adventurous, please join us regardless.

 

Whatever you decide, please bring only raw vegan food to share,

preferably organic. An ingredient list placed next to your dish is

helpful for those with special dietary interests/constraints. Our

host specially requests that you bring pillows or backjacks for

sitting on the floor and plates and utensils for eating.

I would like to attend the potluck and am looking for a ride from Maryland, for the following two reasons: my car is very sick, and, I usually get lost in DC. I COULD MEET A KIND PERSON WILLING TO GIVE A RIDE at My Organic Market in College Park, or anywhere else in Silver Spring, etc. Please reply privately to satvicvegan. Thanks! I plan to drive to the Greenbelt metro & take the DC metro to Eastern Market. I

found this is the most convenient way to reach Mary's home in DC. If you can

get to the metro from Silver Spring, I recommend this route instead of trying to

catch a ride, unless someone's able to oblige you. Good luck. I hope your car

can be repaired not too expensively.
