Invitation to Feb. 12 potluck at Lynda Carter's in Petersburg, VA

Several people have responded to my initial post about the raw

potluck that will be held on Saturday, Feb. 12 from 4-7 p.m. at

Lynda Carter's home in Petersburg, Va. Here's complete information

about the event.

 

Please bring a raw vegan dish to share, preferably organic. An

ingredient list is a good idea (because we all have our preferences,

don't we?), and copies of your recipe even better, in case people

are inspired to follow your lead when they get home.

 

Important note: You do not need to be a gourmet raw chef to

attend. Everyone is welcome. Bring a salad, some veggies, some

fruit, whatever. It's all ok!

Please let me know if you'd like to carpool. Based on the earlier

responses, there should be more than a few of us, so we can carpool

from various locations. Please let me know where you'd be coming

from, and if you have a good suggestion for a place to meet, tell me

Steve et al,

 

I definitely want to join the carpool for Lynda's potluck. I'd prefer to ride

from Montgomery or PG County if at least one person is leaving from there.

That's much easier to reach than DC. Please call me at 410-902-1663 after 7:30

PM on weeknights so we can plan this accordingly. Thanks.

I believe the kids potluck was scheduled for the following week,

Feb. 19, I think.

Hi Monica,

 

No, this is not the "Kids" potluck. The date has been set for 2/19//05 and the details will be posted not later than next week. This should give all of our kids time to decide on what they're planning to surprise us with, that is, if they're not already.

 

A note to all. . . encourage you kids and let them know that a day has been set aside just for them.
