Really Raw Honey at the coop on Monday.... and Gussie Tweedy, In Memorium

Hi everyone,

 

Just a mention that next Monday at the Baltimore Village Co-op we're

having Victor Bennett, the co-founder of Really Raw Honey come and demo

his yummy raw honey. I'll be preparing a couple of recipes, as well, that

use honey. A soup, a dressing, and if someone wants to recommend something

(or demo it) a simple dessert. Not a lot of time for the recipes part,

since most of the session will be devoted to Victor, but at the end want

to share more raw stuff.

 

Come check out our small coop, give us suggestions for making it better,

support a local raw business, and meet others with similar interests...

 

By the way, I don't know if any of you on this list knew Gussie Tweedy who

passed away last week. She was the dedicated manager for many years of

Sam's Belly Natural Foods Cooperative in Baltimore. I created a memorial

I'm accepting remembrances for the page from those who would like to share

thoughts about her.

 

Honestly, I think I only know two folks on this listserv, Skai, and Lynda.
