First " Veggie Fest " Program to be held at the Naperville Science of Spirituality Center VEGGIE FEST 2005 Celebrate Vegetarianism A Healthy Choice On Saturday, August 27th from 1 pm - 8 pm, the festival " Veggie Fest " will be held at the Science of Spirituality Center in Naperville, Illinois. Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj will give a talk that day on the spiritual aspects of the vegetarian diet. There will also be talks from 7 other speakers from the Science of Spirituality on all aspects of the vegetarian diet and lifestyle. These include Aaron Stephens, founder and president of Nature's Path; Tim Fior, MD and Homeopath; Ingrid Kraaz von Rohr, Naturopath; Linda Scotti, MS, RN; Arlene Muska, Nutritionist; Tina Willer, MBA. The Festival will also feature a large farmer's market, food demonstrations, a festive children's program, and many restaurants will present and sell vegetarian meals from different cultures. This event will include vendors such as Whole Foods, Jamba Juice, Wild Oats, Trader Joe's, Connie's Pizza, Nature's Path, Shree Indian restaurant, and others. Throughout the day " Veggie Fest " will feature the music of Richard Dworsky, an initiate who is the musical director for " A Prairie Home Companion, " heard on more than 550 radio stations around the world. On Sunday, August 28th, Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj will give a public talk on the grounds of the Science of Spirituality Center. Immediately afterward, Maharaj Ji will give initiation into the inner Light and Sound. Langar will be provided after initiation. This may be Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj's last weekend in Chicago before he returns to India. Come to Chicago and join in this new and exciting event to promote the vegetarian lifestyle as well as to spend time with Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj.
