Guest guest
Hello All, I'm relatively new to posting within the group, however I have enjoyed a number of the wonderful recipes available. I try to incorpperate at least 50% raw foods in my diet daily and have experienced many health benefits. Two weeks ago my father had a tumor removed from his brain and has been labled cancerous and highly aggressive. My father(who is 55) is not in bad overall health, however years of dietary abuse has made him borderline for several ailments. His prognosis is good because the cancer was caught early however I am concerned about his bodys ability to heal and stenghthen before, during and after his prescribed radiation treatments. Are there any suggestive " raw " foods that he can incorpperate into his diet as a means of " combabtive nutrition " . I read the book, " Raw Power " and aquired some good ideas about building strenghth naturally in the body. I bought him a couple pounts of raw sunflower seeds, raw pumpkin seeds and garlic stuffed olives from Glut Co-Op. He is cooperatively eating the items I purchased for him however I am searching for other suggestions. Thanks in advance and healthy living, and eating :-) Marcus
Guest guest
Seek out ripe organic fruits and vegetables. I couldn't believe how (utterly!) delicious greens were, for instance, from the Tuscarora Organic Food Cooperative last year. My other suggestion is to aim for color. Red, yellow, orange, blue, and especially green. Guest guest
Peace Brother Marcus, If you have any additional questions or looking for something in particular or customized for your father, give me a call at 202.437.4850 or email www.pristine@... . I'm sure I could provide some assistance or any specific questions concerning what other things that your father could do. My father became an ancestor 16 years ago and it came as a result of prostate cancer. If I knew and had the education and credentials that I have now back then, He would be a living testament of what natural, holistic healing is all about. I am sending energy out to you and your family during this time because when one is dis-eased, that impacts the entire family.
