Guest guest
Rezz; Thanks for the info on the price of the professional series of the vita-mix. Currently, I do have the 5000 model which has performed extremely well for me over the past 3 years. According to comparison chart below, the performance, i.e., wattage, HP, speed, RPMs appear to be identical. It seems that the 1321 can KNEAD and GRIND. http://www.kitchen-universe.com/blenderschart.htm Anyway, I called vita-mix and they confirmed that the commercial model performs the same as the 5000 and that the only difference is that because commercial models are used more often, they are offered a 1 yr - 3 yr warranty. They also advised me that the food preparation manuals are not included with the professional models. Guess it is whatever works for the individual. I have used the Champ blender for the past three years, and it performs wonderful for me. and the uses I have... We can sometimes get bogged down w/being right, or better or worse, and omitt what works for the individual... I see from the chart the Champ no longer has the 7yr warranty Mark makeedaReply- To: Subject: Vita-MixMon, 11 Dec 2006 17:08:31 +0000 Rezz; Thanks for the info on the price of the professional series of the vita-mix.
