Guest guest
Does anyone have any recommendations for a teacher of color who practices kundalini yoga? I am also interested in a local kundalini yoga teacher training program. If you know about one or are involved in a training program now, please let me know. I am preparing for Fall 2007 or 2008. Guest guest
Greetings! Lazarus Emenogu teaches Kundalini yoga at MamaSita Cultural Center on Tuesday evenings at 8:30PM and Sunday mornings at 9:30AM. He has been practicing yoga for about 30 years… he is a gentle and humble spirit. Although not Kundalini, Yirser Ra Hotep offers a teacher certification in Kemetic (Ancient Egyptian) Yoga. The next session starts Jan. 28th. You can see details on his site at www.YogaSkills.com. You may also be excited to hear that Yirser, also a 30 year yoga practitioner, will be hosting the first annual SKY Yoga Fest in DC which will feature presentations by yoga instructors of color. You can get details on the fest by emailing him through his site. You can see the weekly class schedule for Kundalini, Ancient Egyptian and other forms of yoga offered at the center at this link: www.GoMamaSita.com ~Sunyatta On Behalf Of Kiamsha Leeke Wednesday, January 03, 2007 11:08 AM raw soul veggie group Kundalini Yoga Teacher of Color and Training Program Does anyone have any recommendations for a teacher of color who practices kundalini yoga?
