Greetings: Have any of you parents ever fasted your children under the age of 18? I only know of one our kids who did. Josh volunteered last year for a 21 day fast at the age of 5 and it was remarkable! He had more will power than any of us adults. If you did. . . 1. What were the ages? 2. How did you prepare them for it? 3. Did you fast them on water, juice, fruit of herbal teas? 4. How long was the fast? 5. What time of the year was it done? 6. How difficult was it, if at all? 7. Did the child decide with you or was it your decision, solely? 8. What was the end result besides the normal weight loss? Remain Focused and Good Health to You Elaine

1. What were the ages?

5 yrs old

2. How did you prepare them for it?

he eats about 90% raw so no real prep work

3. Did you fast them on water, juice, fruit of herbal teas?

juice fast,w/ mostly green juices, some teas, and coconut water, and somenut milks towards the ened, althoug heavily strained, so no fiber existed

4. How long was the fast?

21 days

5. What time of the year was it done?

fall

6. How difficult was it, if at all?

he was fine until day 19, and he got hungry..It was time to break the fast, although I opted to let him go on another 2days at his request

7. Did the child decide with you or was it your decision, solely?

yes his mom, Cheryl was doing one and he decided to do it w/her

8. What was the end result besides the normal weight loss?

he got to dettach from food, and the large portions, he did loose about 5lbs (which is a geed percentage for his size.. slept about 2hrs less each day... He was healthy before he started, so nothing signifigant health wise

What an easy job you had. Seems I left out the key words "SAD" children under age 18. Thanks Mark. ElaineMark Blake <blakensons wrote: 1. What were the ages? 5 yrs old 2.
