Guest guest
Is this for real? Does someone out there wish to control the content of what is written on this site? I thought we were a bunch of aware people, who understood the truth; That we reflect onto other people what we don't like in our selves. Obviously, there is someone out there who feels very poorly about themself, and felt the need to share it. Whoever you are, don't be so hard on your self. There is not a soul on this earth, that is not worthy of self love. If you have that you will not feel the need to brings others down to where you believe you are. May everone who reads this take a moment and send out a " prayer " for you.
Guest guest
Well, personally I liked the Valentines day message. And, I missed the one on Mozart concert (or I might have gone). So, maybe the sender is just showing his/her own issues. Oh well.... - " Eric Scott Farris " <rawseattle <RawSeattle > Friday, July 27, 2001 4:21 PM [RawSeattle] a funny message I got a while ago > Below is a pretty funny e-mail I got a while ago. Guest guest
I think it's great that you (or anyone) put out there your wish to do something you love to do. How else can we find people with similar interests? When I hear a reaction (over-reaction) such as that one, I feel sorry for the person and wish him happiness! If a person is centered in his/her own life, there is no need judge others (IMO). Jeff
Guest guest
Eric, That is a pretty funny email all right. Who cares about professionalism?! I for one am in this group for companionship of real people who share real stories, express real feelings and we share good time together of course. Eric, I really enjoyed the movie " Baraka " we watched together. Thank you again for recommending it. Guest guest
personally, i dont see any problem in inviting other ppl of like minds to join you for outings whether they include raw food or not. seems this is a place to meet like minds, and talk about stuff as well as raw food and hang out if desired. i mean, if you go out after a concert, dont you want to go somewhere where you can eat and wouldnt other raw foodists understand and want to go to the same places, etc??? just my input! amy - Eric Scott Farris <rawseattle <RawSeattle > Friday, July 27, 2001 4:21 PM [RawSeattle] a funny message I got a while ago > Below is a pretty funny e-mail I got a while ago. Guest guest
Eric- I find the anonymity of the author's message the highlight of this passive-aggressive piece. Hopefully you will not take it personally, eric- if someone became this upset because of your posting, perhaps there's a host of other upsetting variables in their life. Thanks to you, so much of raw seattle's communication occurs at all- this community is very happy you are a part of it! Yet-If everyone chose to post their social events via emails, the legitimacy and relevance of raw events would become clouded. Fortunately, that hasnt happened and Im sure it wont in the future. Too bad the person who emailed the 'funny message' choses not to come around anymore, though. karen >stop using this group's list server as a > loser's solution > for getting attention.
