Guest guest
Greetings my BEAUTIFUL raw brothers and Sistahs -I am new to the raw NW.scene but am looking for some RAW BLATANT PROPAGANDA.Maybe someone out there can help?More specifically I have this Knowledge that i acquired somewhere in my journeys, you see I am moving over to Kauai next Spring to start a Raw Restaurant, but I would like to take it a step further.I would like to have everything grown organically/biodynamically onsite that I use(a sustainability issue of sorts I suppose)so that there is not such a large span of time from the life source to the table.Basically so that our food is not in a partial state of degredation by the time we get it.I read somewhere the facts on the percentage of nutrients lost within a set time period of being plucked from its life source, and it was really astounding how much it was.I am hoping to have a 15 min max rule at my restaurant- can anyone help me relocate this info?Any help would be appreciated-I look forward to meeting you all eventually!Happy Fall Equinox & Namaste,Freedom
Guest guest
Namaste Freedom- David Wolfe's Sunfood Diet book goes on in detail about nutrients lost post-harvest, particularly per leafy greens, because the % of vitality lost is so high after about 5-6 hours of being plucked fromthe earth. Most fruits, for example, retain more of their nutrients, etc. (lifeforce). Don't know how much of it is proper " propaganda " because its validity is righteous (not to mention scientifically documented)... We have very similar interests- check out www.sunraw.com- that's what I'm working on starting up in Seattle. I'd love to talk with you. Respects- Karen --- FREEDOMHECKMAN wrote: > Greetings my BEAUTIFUL raw brothers and Sistahs -I > am new to the raw > NW.scene but am looking for some RAW BLATANT > PROPAGANDA.Maybe someone > out there can help?More specifically I have this > Knowledge that i > acquired somewhere in my journeys, you see I am > moving over to Kauai > next Spring to start a Raw Restaurant, but I would > like to take it a > step further.I would like to have everything grown > organically/biodynamically onsite that I use(a > sustainability issue > of sorts I suppose)so that there is not such a large > span of time > from the life source to the table.Basically so that > our food is not > in a partial state of degredation by the time we get > it.I read > somewhere the facts on the percentage of nutrients > lost within a set > time period of being plucked from its life > source, and it was really > astounding how much it was.I am hoping to have a 15 > min max rule at > my restaurant- can anyone help me relocate this > info?Any help would > be appreciated-I look forward to meeting you all > eventually!Happy > Fall Equinox & Namaste,Freedom > > Get email alerts & NEW webcam video instant messaging with Messenger. http://im.
