Guest guest
Okay, I'm asking and what island are you talking about? Possibly Kauai? We do have some raw friends on the Big Island if anyone is interested. Shari Linda Reeves [lkreeves]Thursday, November 01, 2001 12:59 PMRawSeattle Subject: [RawSeattle] Re: mauiNope. Guest guest
Ok ladies. Correct my spelling. Only 12 letters in the Hawaiin alphabet, but I still can't spell their words. anyway, I spent Thankgiving on Kauai a few years ago with my partner at the time, John. we stayed at this wonderful 7th Day Adventist site with a school and cabins. there was lots of acreage, and trails up the mountain to a skinny trail along the ridge of the mountain. Whee. Dangerous when windy. Lots of wild edibles along the way. Wild boars snorting down below in a gulch. Banana, guava and other fruit trees growing over our rustic cabin. Geckos chirped at us and shared our one BR with kitchen digs. The outdoor shower (and indoor) house and toilets were a short walk away. We had a vegan Thanksgiving. The hosts invited us for dinner, and many others. They even cooked a bird along with their soy turkey. Nice people and nice memories. Great hiking, sight seeing. ... a nude beach with beautiful bronze bodies. Beautiful!! cheap lodging. $35/night??? I can't really remember. --Linda ..RawSeattle, " Shari V " <shavig@p...> wrote: > Okay, I'm asking and what island are you talking about? Possibly Kauai? Guest guest
Paula, see my post to Shari. I love Maui too. I've been there twice. What are your maui plans? You must go up the wet side of the island, to the top of the mountain---at sunrise!! Is that Hana? Vendors sell fruit along the way. Breathtaking views. OMG. Take me with you!!! I'm jonesing for Hawaii now. Molokai is very cool also! :-) Linda RawSeattle, " Paula Belcher " <greenmates@s...> wrote: > okay, what about Kauai? > > > - > " Linda Reeves " <lkreeves@q...> > <RawSeattle> > Thursday, November 01, 2001 12:59 PM > [RawSeattle] Re: maui > > > > Nope. Guest guest
Maui was last April with the kids. There was a grand farmer's market everyday within walking distance of our place. No vacations this year as nobody is on the same schedule this year. And yes, I am jonesing for Hawaii too. Shari
