Needing Raw Dental Advice

Greetings!

I have a tooth which I believe has died, given its dark color. I am

in a LOT of pain, the root is inflammed and my jaw is swollen. I'm

going to have to find a dentist tomorrow. Prior to our trip I'd done

some inquiring of dentists to find one that would treat me without

xrays and drugs. My search isn't complete and I'm at a point where

I've got to just give up and go.

The last time I had a similar problem, I had a root canal. I

understand from messages I've read over the past year that these are

a bad, bad idea.

Please, send me whatever advice you think I need prior to my going to

the dentist tomorrow so that I can offer alternatives. I want to do

the healthiest thing for my body and teeth.

Thanks!

Annette

poor little anette,

you can make an end to all these problems and pains &

many others by immidiately undergoing a short fast,

how short... that depends how much time do you have

for that, it could be a couple of days up to a week or

more, depending how much time do you have at the

moment

and of course good raw food for the rest of your life,

ang i garantee, you won't experience pain ever again,

of any sort, do you want theory? but, a big but,

whatever has already died, nothing will relieve,

not fasting, not " beautiful organic raw food " as

victoria would put it, unfortunately in rare cases

a medical intervention is the right thing, so you can

almost decide yourself, in how bad shape your little

tooth is, and go about accordingly, if you'd like some

more info or a little chat, call me 206-725-0203,

at this moment i'm fasting myself to prevent any

evil spirits or pains to set feet in my body :)~~

Thank you, Attila, for taking the time to write. I have taken your

advice, as well as that of several others, and am trying the fasting

mode. I've postponed my appt. with the dentist.

I apologize for being tardy in responding to you and thanking you. I

was put off by the " poor little anette " salutation -- especially

since I felt that I wasn't whining; rather I was looking to do the

best raw thing for my teeth. Being raw for only a year, I still have

lots to learn and look to the more experienced for suggestions.

Hi Annette, I've read that a grass juice program along with serious intake of green foods helps to remineralize the body during the rebuilding process. Kamut, rye or wheat grass juice would help to deal with the acidic condition of the body. My understanding of how it works is the body's hierarchy is set up to maintain an alkaline state to protect the vital organs and operations of the body. When the body is too acidic then minerals such as calcium will be extracted from the teeth, nails and eventually the bones to bring the overall body back to an alkaline state. In a vegan raw food diet some acid forming foods that could be robbing your calcium reserves would be: unsoaked nuts and seeds, processed nut butters (these butters are made with unsoaked nuts and seeds) too many nuts and seeds, unripe fruit, improper food combining, not waiting for complete digestion to occur ie. over indulging, condiments such as oils, vinegars, salt derivatives ie. nama shoyu etc. I sincerely recommend that you consume, if possible, at least 2 if not 3 green meals per day. I can't stress enough the power of grass juice at a time when the body requires food and nourishment. The fruits that are alkaline to the body are the sub-acid fruits (apples, pears etc.) and the nuts and seeds that are the least acidic are soaked almonds and soaked unhulled sesame seeds. Peeling the skin off the almonds is also recommended since it will contribute to the acid condition of the body. I hope this will be of some help. sincerely, joyce -cloudriver Wednesday, January 09, 2002 9:30 AM RawSeattle [RawSeattle] Re: Needing Raw Dental Advice Thank you, Attila, for taking the time to write.
